Students of YBIS are guided in the path to understand and conserve nature. Students are involved in projects and activities in lieu with N Park’s attempt to maintain Singapore as a garden city. The butterfly garden at our school serves as evidence to our students love for nature.

Collaboration with local schools

YBIS is in close association with neighbouring Jurong Secondary School and Yishun Town Secondary School. Celebration of Chinese New year, Friendship day, Racial harmony day together has strengthened our mutual relationship. YBIS takes all effort to build up an understanding with the students of our buddy schools, share knowledge and rejoice in harmony. Mutual visits at frequent intervals have helped students to grow and live in harmony.

Yuvabharathi International School supported by Taman Jurong Zone B RC will be curating ‘关爱大众 - The Waves: 22 Stories of Taman Jurong’. Senior Residents from 22 Families will share their cherishable moments and jubilations of National Day celebrations over the years with our students to promulgate ‘Heart Work’ in the spirit of SG Cares.

Extra Curricular Activities

 
Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) is optional.
  • ECA is conducted for students of Class 1 - 8
  • ECA is conducted during school hours for Class 1 to 4 on Tuesdays and Class 5 to 8 on Thursdays.
  • For ECA, a fee of S$120 per Term / Installment (Exclude GST ) /- is charged. Fee does not include the material cost.
  • Parents may refer the details below, make a selection of One ECA or One Club Activity and mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • ECA activities - Soccer, Basket Ball, Cricket, Badminton, Karate, Keyboard, Skating, Table -Tennis, Indian Classical Dance, Western Dance, Art, Speech & Drama.
  • Club Activities – Eco Club, Health and Wellness Club, Integrity Club, Literary Club and Heritage Club are conducted to cater to the varied interests of students. Club activities will be conducted during school hours. This is for students of Class 5 - 8 who do not take part in ECA.
  • Students of Class 5 - 8 who do not wish to join ECA will be given one Club Activity during the ECA period.
  • Students of Class 1 - 4 who do not wish to join ECA will be given Reading Activities during the ECA period.
